Halloween Safety Tips:
- Accompany Your Child: Younger children should always be accompanied by a responsible adult while trick-or-treating.
- Candy Inspection: Before indulging in Halloween treats, inspect all candies for any signs of tampering. Discard any open or damaged wrappers.
- Makeup or Face paint: If using makeup or face paint with your costume always double check the product you’re using.
- Costumes: It can get hot under a costume, especially when walking long distances during Trick-or-Treating. Remember to carry a few bottles of water with you!
- Safety Tip: Since most trick or treating is done at night, it’s important to wear reflective clothing or carry a flashlight so cars can see you.
