Have You Heard? The Mayor and City Council of the City of Harrisville, proclaimed April 25, 2026 as Arbor Day in the City of Harrisville. They urge all citizens to celebrate Arbor Day and to support efforts to protect our trees and woodlands, and further urge all citizens to plant and care for trees to gladden the heart and promote the well-being of this and future generations in the March City Council Meeting.
In conjunction with this, Harrisville Residents of all ages are invited to attend a beautification project to commemorate Arbor Day. The Arbor Day Planting Event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Harrisville Main Park located at approximately 1350 North Highway 89. The event will be planting trees throughout the park.
