For Public Release

It is with great sadness that I share the news of the untimely passing of our Public Works Director in Harrisville City. Over the past four years, he served our city with unwavering dedication, integrity, and heart. His passion for his work was evident in everything he did—from overseeing day-to-day operations to taking on tasks himself to save the city valuable resources.

Under his leadership, the Public Works Department thrived. He thoughtfully reorganized the department’s budget, easing the burden on the city’s general fund while maintaining high standards of service. He was a strong advocate for workplace safety and employee well-being, and his commitment to creating a healthy work environment led to excellent staff retention. He believed deeply in investing in his team and prioritized training and development for his employees.

He was instrumental in leading out on the design and construction of our new Public Works Building—an accomplishment that will serve our city for generations to come and stand as a testament to his forward-thinking leadership.

Beyond his many contributions and accomplishments, he will be remembered for the way he worked—with humility, professionalism, and genuine care for both his team and our community. His absence will be deeply felt by his staff, his colleagues, and all of us who had the privilege of working alongside him.

On behalf of Harrisville City, I extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of service and dedication that will not be forgotten.
