The Harrisville Happenings newsletter for October 2026 was sent to the printer before the information about the Planning Commission public hearing could be removed. Ordinance 576: an ordinance of Harrisville City, Utah, amending Title 11 of the Harrisville City Municipal Code relating to Land Use and Zoning; replacing certain repealed residential zoning designations; establishing the R-5 Compact Single Family Residential Zone and R-SA Single Family Attached Residential Zone will be held at a later date.
Again, the Public Hearing for Ordinance 576 has been canceled for October 14. The meeting will still be held. Encourage you to visit the Public Notice Website for the agenda and meeting information. For questions about this, call the city offices at 801-782-4100.
In the meantime, don’t forget next week, on top of holding the Senior Luncheon, City Council & Planning Commission meetings, we have the Harrisville Fall Cleanup days. Then on Saturday, October 24, we have the Police Department’s/DEA Prescription Drug Take Back day. Also, the Harrisville PD is looking for donations for their upcoming Shop with a Hero event.
